Inn at Aspen Testimonial

"I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful stay we had at Inn At Aspen.  Not only was the room overlooking the large pool, but we were right at the base of Buttermilk Mountain, allowing us to ski all day without getting into our car and fighting the traffic.  The service was excellent, the atmosphere was clean and pleasant, and the location was superb.  I couldn’t have ask for a better holiday and for that I thank you."

"I can not say enough praise about Marti Barbour and the customer service side of ResortQuest! The unit has been rented 90% of each month and customer service is awesome…."

"This is the first time I've ever written to a hotel to tell them how much I enjoyed the visit.  I just returned from a week's stay with you.  This visit was my sixth time visiting the Aspen Center for Physics and my fourth time bringing my kids with me.  I anticipated a somewhat difficult visit during the winter with the kids, but staying at the Inn at Aspen made our visit very smooth and fun for everyone.   The setting is, of course, gorgeous and convenient to the slopes.   But you don't seem to rest on that.  Your rooms are lovely, clean, well-maintained, and comfortable.  Your restaurant is family-friendly and the breakfast is terrific. Most importantly of all, your staff is terrific.  Everyone I saw during the entire week was friendly, competent, and helpful. I very much look forward to staying with you again and I will recommend you to all of my friends. "

"We got back to the UK from our holiday last Tuesday. Just to thank you and all the staff at The Inn at Aspen for their hospitality. We had a great 10 days and will hopefully be back in a couple of season’s time."

"Aspen can be extremely expensive and the Inn at Aspen was a pleasant surprise. The only way to be closer to the mountain is to set up a tent outside. You actually see the ski-lift for Buttermilk from the lobby as you walk in the front door. They have Ski-Lockers so you can ski or snowboard all day and drop off your gear when finished. The rooms are large and comfortable but it's the amenities that will make me return. Complimentary breakfast was nice with fresh waffles, fruit and juices but the shuttle into town is the topper. We had dinner in their restaurant the first night but took a free shuttle into Aspen and back the second night. This was a summer business trip but I love ski-in / ski-out so I'll be bringing the kids next time."

  • Liked — Convenient to Aspen and for winter, it's ski-in, ski-out
  • Disliked — No elevator but it's only 2 floors

"I stayed at the Inn at Aspen this past weekend. I was in Aspen for a conference that was at Snowmass. The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is right at the base of Buttermilk mountain (about 50 yards from the main lift) and close to the airport. I could get into town in about 5 minutes and get up to Snowmass for my conference in about 10 minutes.

Check-in was no problem. No waiting, even though a flight crew was also checking in at the same time.

The room was large and clean. There was a couch, easy chair desk / table and a king bed, plus plenty of additional room. The bed was comfy and warm. I had a balcony which overlooked the half-pipe at Buttermilk. If it were ski season, I could have sat out there and watched the snow boarders for hours. The bathroom was small but well-lit and lots of water pressure in the shower. Creature comforts like coffee machine, DVD player and a fridge were also there. TV was a bit on the small side.

The rest of the property was fine. Decent workout room; nice lobby; ski lockers right off the lobby, which looked convenient for skiers; nice bar with decent prices and several good beers. on tap; Complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day and newspapers in the morning.

The hotel is definitely not as nice or fancy as the Little Nell or the St. Regis (both of which I have stayed at) but it was also a fraction of the price of those other places. In summary, it is a very nice place with a great location and a great value. My expectations were exceeded and I would stay at the property again on my next trip to Aspen."
