Aspen and Snowmass are a number one choice for family getaways with many diverse programs and activities all based around kids! With the crown jewel of kid's centers opening in 2007, the Snowmass Treehouse Kid's Adventure Center and there's an abundance of kid-friendly activities both on and off the mountain.

It's just for kids on Aspen Mountain! Find most activities Free for kids every Monday- Friday on Aspen Mountain offered 11am-2pm. Dates vary per summer.
- Camp Aspen/Snowmass- Camp Aspen/Snowmass provides a fun, dynamic environment and offers combinations of activities with daily and weekly programs available for ages 1 year through teens. Activities include mountainboarding, skateboarding, paintball, mountain biking fishing. theme and nature days, horseback riding, swimming and a variety of activity combinations make this a must-do summer adventure camp. - Daily Aspen Mountain Activities- From the ACES educational program with live animals, juggling shows and workshop, kite building and storytelling. See more.
- Climbing Wall- Kids can test their agility on the rock-climbing wall. An exciting atmosphere for the whole family. All ages welcome (harness must fit properly).
- Eurobungy Trampoline- Jump on this hybrid trampoline and get shot into the air with a bungy harness system- feels like you can fly!
- Obstacle Course- Free and Fun! This course is make of natural or man-made obstacles like tree logs, rope swings, netting and more. See how fast your can complete the course!
- Silver Nugget Dig- Kids can go back in time to the turn of the century and Aspen's silver mining history. Dig in the silver mining sandbox to uncover silver nuggets of all shapes and sizes. Small silver nuggets can be taken as a souvenir.
Winter holds many wonders for the kids to discover! Times and locations vary per season for all mountain activities.
- Ski and Snowboard School- make sure your kids are learning the techniques of skiing or boarding correctly from the beginning. Learn more.
- The Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center at Snowmass is a one-stop-shop for Ski & Snowboard School check-in and rental/retail. The center also boasts children's entertainment from a family-friendly climbing gym to teen activities to a host of themed rooms for ages eight weeks and older.
- Kid's Mountain Guide – Use the guide to find trails marked specifically for kids' like Fort Frog, our children's adventure center featuring a western- style fort, Screamin' Eagle run or Grouse Grove. As always, kids ages 6 & under ski/ride for FREE on all four mountains.
- Winter Wild Things – In this Ski & Snowboard School program, kids learn about snow survival and tracking the wild animals of Aspen/Snowmass.
- Storytelling, Sing-A-longs and Kid's Krafts – Storytelling by the Campfire, Sing-A-Longs by the campfire and Kid's Krafts continue throughout the weekdays in Snowmass. Keep the kids entertained after a day on the slopes for FREE.
- Ice Skating - Bundle up and lace those skates up for a little glide around the rink. Aspen/Snowmass offers both indoor and outdoor skating facilities for everyone's enjoyment. The Lewis Ice Arena at the ARC is a state-of-the-art, Olympic-size sheet of ice with full programs for all abilities. The Aspen Ice Garden is located in town at the corner of Hyman and 2nd Street. For outdoor skating the Silver Circle Ice Skating Rink is located across from Rubey Park at the base of Aspen Mountain.
