Nightlife in Aspen/Snowmass

After dark, Aspen's nightlife ranges from the refined to the raucous. Sophisticated après ski bars in mountain lodges offer cocktails and crackling fires, while English-style pubs and microbreweries in the blocks around Hyman and Cooper Street offer up cold brews, live bands and televised sports. Even Aspen's ritziest clubs and restaurants get in on the nightlife action, offering late-night jazz trios, rock bands and DJs.
Visitors who aren't keen on the bar scene can opt for a concert or theatrical production at the Historic Wheeler Opera House or a performance by the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet. Each summer the nine-week Aspen Music Festival and School produces more than 200 events that take place daily at the Benedict Music Tent, a 2,050-seat acoustical marvel, as well as the Harris Concert Hall and other venues around town.
