4th of July Celebrations and Festivities
Aspen celebrates the 2010 Independence Day with an old fashioned twist as approximately 20,000 residents and visitors come together to honor the nation's birthday in true American style. Festivities include a parade, U.S. Air force jet flyby, concerts, a kid's bicycle rodeo, and spectacular fireworks over Aspen Mountain.

- 8am - 3pm:
Hopkins Ave. and Hunter St. Enjoy shopping this outdoor market featuring 70 vendors: fresh produce and meat, flowers, clothing, leather, CO wine, jewelry, and numerous artisan products.

- 4:30pm: Harris Concert Hall Tickets $46. Aspen Music Festival and School
- 8:30pm: at the Benedict Music Tent. Tickets $60-$250 available at Jazz Aspen Snowmass.
- 8 am:
Register before May 31st $40 per adult on-line only; day of $50. Kids 16 and under $15.
- 9:15 am:

- 10 am:

Early Learning Center's kids'carnival in Paepcke Park featuring games, BBQ, silent auction, and bake sale. Early Learning Center, 970-920-9201
- Noon:
Watch as the Parade with all the kids, horses, firetrucks, and more winds its way downtown. See the route map below.
- 1pm:
